SHIPPING POLICY
OVERVIEW
Elara Lifestyle offers storewide free economy US shipping through USPS (5-8 Business days) for parcels weighing up to 1 lbs where applicable and depending on the customer's location per United States Postal Services (USPS) Postal Zones 1-9.
USPS Postal Zones are how the United States Postal Service determines the distance between an origin and destination address. These zones range from 1-9, where Zone 1 is a local shipment and Zone 9 is the furthest possible distance for a domestic shipment.
The cost for parcels exceeding 1 lbs. and other expedited shipping methods will be charged accordingly. Once you have confirmed your order, it might not be possible to edit or cancel it. We are not bound to make such modifications to your order, but we will do our best on a case-by-case basis.
The risk of loss of, damage to, and title for Products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. It shall be your responsibility to file any claim with a carrier for a lost shipment if carrier tracking indicates that the Product was delivered. In such a case, Elara Lifestyle will not make any refunds and will not resend the Product. For Users in the European Economic Area, the risk of loss of, damage to, and title for Products will pass to you when you or a third party indicated by you has acquired the physical possession of the Products.
If carrier tracking indicates that a Product was lost in transit, you may make a written claim for the replacement of (or credit to the Member’s account for) the lost Product in compliance with Elara Lifestyle’s Refund Policy. For Products lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. All such claims are subject to Elara Lifestyle investigation and sole discretion.
DUTIES AND TAXES
When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.
Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.
Elara Lifestyle does not have any responsibility on these additional charges that may apply.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order, the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.
If a product is seized and destroyed by customs, or returned to the supplier, Elara Lifestyle will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover the shipping costs when the buyer wishes to have a second delivery attempt after the product is returned to the supplier.
DELIVERY TIMING
Elara Lifestyle does not guarantee at any time a certain delivery date or time frame for delivery for any product or order. Any listed time for a shipping method is an estimate only.
